FLL Qualifier
2014-2023
We host the Marble City FLL Qualifier at our high school. Team members volunteer and help run the event, and students from up to 32 FLL teams compete and meet our team.
Fantasy of Trees
2014-2023
We decorate a christmas tree with 3D printed ornaments. The trees are sold through an auction-like system, and the proceeds are given to the Tennessee Children’s Hospital.
4th of July Parade
2014-2023
We participate in the Farragut 4th of July Parade and drive our robot in the street, hand out flyers, and interact with kids and future FIRST participants.
Team Social
2016-2023
We run a team social at Smoky Mountains Regional where students and mentors come from different teams to eat gyros, relax, dance, and have fun and meet each other.
8th Grade Night / Valleypalooza
2013-2023
We run a booth at HVA’s 8th Grade Night and Valleypalooza events to recruit new members to our team.
Barnes & Noble
2016-2019
We spend the day at a booth at Barnes and Noble to let people know about our program and demonstrate STEM products for the store.
STEM Camp
2012-2018
The Two Blues STEM Camp is a collaboration with Farragut High School, home of FRC 3140, Flagship Robotics. It is a week-long summer camp for grades 2-7. Team members help teach certain classes throughout.
The Band Props Project
2018
We built custom motorized gear props for the HVA marching band. A team member and a couple of mentors traveled with the band to football games and band competitions in order to transport the props and troubleshoot.
